Education is Affordable
We know that money can be tight. But with the help of financial assistance, school can be affordable for just about anyone! Financial Aid is available to those who qualify and there are many affordable ways to finance your future. With financial assistance, many of our students have their tuition completely covered through federal loans and grants. We can provide payment plans for those who do not wish to apply for financial aid, or are not eligible. Our financial aid staff is here to assist you through this entire process.
How do I apply for financial assistance?
Visit www.fafsa.gov to submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid. On the application, you might be asked for a school code. If you would like Avenue Five to receive your information, please use code below:
School Code is 041607
It takes approximately 10 business days from the date that you submit the FAFSA, for the school to receive it. If you haven’t already done so, we strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with our admissions office during this time. Once we receive your FAFSA we will email you eligibility information.
FAFSA ID: In order to apply for Federal Student Aid (FSA), you’ll need to create a FSA ID. The ID is made up of a username and password you can use to access certain U.S. Department of Education websites.
When creating your ID, the information you submit will need to be confirmed with the Social Security Administration (SSA), which can take 1-3 business days. For more information on the FSD ID or to start the process yourself, visit the Federal Student Aid site.
NOTE: You do NOT have to apply for an FSA ID or fill out the FAFSA before you visit Avenue Five. It’s up to you. If you want to start exploring your financial aid opportunities, you’ve got that option, but we’re also happy to help you every step of the way.
